Coal Mountain Park in Forsyth County, GA features a neat covered playground as well as a picnic pavilion, walking trails, second playground and softball and soccer fields. I like to go to the park in the mornings when it’s cooler. The ground is made of a soft rubber which is nice and soft.
When temperatures are topping in the 90s, playgrounds can get hot and dangerous for kids. (Beware if it is in the 90s outside, the playground equipment can get well over 100 degrees in temperature.)
