Cumming First Baptist Church will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 12 inside the church atrium, 1597 Sawnee Drive. There will be furniture, household items, toys, electronics and mores. Creekside MOPS are having their consignment sale this weekend as well! Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

My church, CFUMC – Cumming First United Methodist Church, is having their super consignment sale next weekend. Be sure to mark your calendar and go through the kids’ closets and make a list of things that you need!

The park is similar to Central Park and includes a skate park, designed by Wally Hollyday, the county’s first. The park will also add more space for athletics. Among them: a track; four baseball fields; six courts each for basketball and tennis; and six soccer/lacrosse fields.

Some other features include a paved walking trail that winds through the woods, the county’s largest pavilion, access to the Big Creek Greenway and a 5-acre passive area ideal for large events.
